CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 25-04 (CUP NO. 25-04) AND SITE PLAN REVIEW (PL NO. 25-0312) FOR “THE PLACE @ TWEEDY” LOCATED AT 3703 TWEEDY BOULEVARD

The Planning Commission is conducting a Public Hearing to consider a request to develop an open-air food hall with a central outdoor plaza, 7,718 square feet of building area, eight restaurant vendor spaces, live entertainment, landscaping, signage, and other improvements for a property located at 3703 Tweedy Boulevard. Two vendors will be selling alcohol under a Type 47 license ("On-Sale General Eating Place”) issued by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC). The requests includes a finding that under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), this project qualifies for a categorical exemption under CEQA Guidelines Section 15332, (Class 32) “In-Fill Development Projects”, and is thereby exempt from CEQA in that urban uses surround the project site and the project meets all other requirements to qualify for a Class 32 exemption.
